Tom Cotton’s threat is just another reason why the federal government shouldn’t be funding our education system. 1) we want the feds to give us money, but 2) we also dont want them to interfere with our teaching. There is already so much historical inaccuracy in our textbooks that its makes more sense for government not to be involved in our education. Let historians take the lead. If you want to keep education free of politics, then keep the feds out of the school system.
