It's wild. Liberals only hate Trump's use of force in Portland or pay attention to parent-child separation because they don't like him. They didn't pay attention when the same things were happening under Obama. I'm hoping that a Trump presidency will teach Americans that it's dangerous to have a massive government. While I agree that Trump should not have tried to play down covid and shown more leadership, I disagree with the idea that it's all his fault. It's not. Covid outbreaks are largely local events, and it's important for local politicians to take the reigns. I do agree that there were several federal statutes and the way that our system is set up that wasted a lot of time when it come to local responses.
