The HSA or Health Savings Account is one of the best things invented by whoever invented it. This comes with a :

1 — Contribute to the account with pre-tax money

2 — Invest the contribution without paying taxes on the growth

3 — Withdraw money tax-free, as long as the withdrawals are for qualified medical expenses

The first round of the Covid stimulus bill, or the, expanded HSA usage to the following products and services:

These are big wins for women’s healthcare and self-diagnosis. …

What no one is pointing out about January 6th

The U.S. Park Police is tasked to patrol national monuments and other federal facilities. They have worked hard to ruin their reputation in the past few years and join the ranks of federal law enforcement agencies that certainly need to be disbanded. This prestigious list now includes the ATF, U.S. Marshals Service, ICE, and Capitol Police.

They are best known for their overreaction and inexcusably violent clearing of Lafayette Square this past summer as President Trump held a Bible in front of St. John’s Church. Two Park Police officers assaulted journalists from Australia’s primary television channels. …

We got lucky on January 6th

Just when you thought that there couldn’t be a worse Federal Law Agency than the ATF, ICE, or the U.S. Marshalls, there comes along the Capitol Police.

Numerous Capitol Police officers appear to have actively supported the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. Footage posted to social media shows members of the Capitol Police posing with selfies with the rioters and even helping them open doors and move barricades. Rep. Pramila Jayapal stated that

“The lack of security at the Capitol is not an accident. It is very clear to me that there were breaches of our law-enforcement agencies…

Please let this year be good

So, I’m finally doing it. I’m writing this post about what I plan to do in 2021. While I’ve written these things down privately, it’s time to make them public. Perhaps these things that I am about to write down will help others. Perhaps someone will read this and provide some feedback. Here it goes:

1) Get my wife invested

Currently, my wife has a couple of hundred dollars invested in crypto. I previously convinced her to open up a Betterment account, but she pulled the money out when she saw her balance drop and moved it back into her savings account. She now has…

Social media giants created the Trump monster

The ship is sailing and people are running scared of the captain. They are literally jumping off the boat and into unchartered waters as the ship sails with a crybaby who was praised for being “the most masculine person…to ever hold the White House,” by White House spokesman Hogan Gidley.

Donald Trump was de-platformed by all the major tech giants, starting with Twitter, then Facebook, followed by Instagram, YouTube, and a slew of other companies. Several Universities stripped Trump of his honorary degrees. P.G.A. of America said it would no longer hold its next tournament at the Trump National Golf…

It’s time to take these extremists seriously

Representative Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) had some very strong words regarding the response of Capitol Police to the breach of security on January 6th at the U.S. Capitol. He stated that -

“there’s going to be a number of people who are going to be without employment very, very soon because this is an embarrassment — both on behalf of the mob and the president, and the insurrection and the attempted coup, but also the lack of professional planning and dealing with what we knew was going to occur.”

Many question how rioters were so easily able to get past Federal…

Well, at least financially

Covid has led to over 7.8 million Americans falling below the poverty line over the past 5 months according to the Washington Post. Economists point to two reasons for the sharp rise in poverty: 1) Lack of jobs and 2) lack of government aid for the unemployed.

Sectors deeply affected include service workers, the arts and entertainment field, and small business owners. Essentially any area that included face to face interaction suffered. Jobs that were once booming have now lay flat, left bare to be exposed to a deep recession.

What this year has shown us is that Congress is…

A Guide for the Common Man

I’ve recently begun watching Property Brothers, and it is unsettling. The premise is simple: a couple seeks to escape from problems that only exist in a 1st world, non-immigrant setting, such as:

  • We want to be close to night-life and have a short commute to work (Uhm, so you want to spend a shit ton of money just so you can have a 20-minute commute as opposed to a 60-minute commute that may cost you a couple of dollars a day on a train or bus and where you can get some reading time done to expand your brain)
  • Oh…

If they do, they’ll lose another election.

In the year 2000, George W. Bush barely eked out an electoral win with 271 votes. He fared only slightly better in 2004, with 286 electoral votes. This showed just how much trouble the Republican party was in. The country, by far, rejected the Bush administration's emphasis on aggressive foreign policy. While George W. Bush embodied all the classic conservative principles of American exceptionalism, deregulation, and family values — he failed to actually accomplish anything that would help the average conservative (much less the average American).

Unemployment under Bush increased from 4.3 percent to 7.3 percent. While GDP growth was…

Are World Leaders Fake?

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is one of many enablers within the Trump Presidency that has clearly denied Trump’s loss, to the point of telling a reporter that “there will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.”

The world is watching as he makes his rounds around the world starting from France, then Turkey, Georgia, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and finally Saudi Arabia. The only problem: the leaders of all these countries have offered their congratulations to President-elect Biden.

Are Congratulations from World Leaders “Fake”?

Trump supporters love to state that American media is fake, but how do they deal with world…

Right Smack in the Middle

I’m a first generation Indian-American with brown skin, but that shouldn’t matter anyway. My politics are right smack in the middle.
